Dear German Modeneser friends and breeders!

When we - the special clubs of Modeneser breeders from Belgium, Denmark and Germany - 4 years ago made an agreement to a closer co-operation with our united hobby, the breed of the smallest hen pigeon - the German Modeneser – we too agreed that we had to create a platform, on which the respective clubs could present themselves.

The international site was then “brought to life” under www.modeneser.de .

At that time I assumed that this internet site, similar our national site, would be a living instrument, where all organized special clubs outside the homeland of the German Modeneser could introduce themselves.

From the beginning it was conscious for us that this would be not-self-perpetuating. But unfortunately until now it has been missing to organize and bring co-operation in front on international level. The globalization that everyone is talking about makes also no stop within the range of the leisure activities. For us Modeneser breeders, whether in the USA, in Belgium, in Denmark, in Sweden, into the Netherlands, in Norway, in Austria, in Switzerland or otherwise somewhere in the world the breeding of Modeneser should be with the most beautiful leisure activities. If we then by a common medium can communicate, then this can really be helpful to the co-operation and the exchange of experiences.

After the slogan on a meeting said of an Austrian manager… what remains is change, what changes remains... we decided from The Special Club of German Modeneser Breeders to set new impulses for an international cooperation.

Since the success of each project is associated with the acting persons, particularly I am very pleased that our breeding friend Kurt Haagh from Denmark has agreed to take “responsibility for the future”.

On our annual general meeting of this year he was then selected as commissioner for international cooperation. Kurt is therefore responsible for the co-operation of all Modeneser breeders on international level accompanying with the presentation as well as the exchange of information in the internet – www.modeneser.de   International.

The success of co-operation depends however on the participation of all involved ones. I therefore ask all Modeneser breeders - who have responsibility in a special club - actively in the future to participate in the development of our united hobby and energetically to support Kurt.  I here by again want to thank for his readiness for the assumption of this task and my best wishes to implement a lot of stamina!

I am looking forward to a future active co-operation as well as exchange of information and experiences around our German Modeneser.

Edelbert Muchenhirn

As newly appointed webmaster for the German Modeneser Special Club’s international website, it is my pleasure to invite to cooperation across all borders all over the world to encourage the breeding and judging of the German Modeneser.

The intentions behind the new website are most of all on a single website to gather important and interesting information regarding each country’s activities of the German Modeneser, and thereby create a stronger link between each country’s clubs and breeders, but also to ensure that through breeding and evaluation a greater uniformity is promoting.

Contacts

To get this site to function, it is a necessity, that each country designates a contact person, who can submit own information and pictures of interest to the website.

It is no requirement that the person writes in English.

As the first, I therefore am going to take telephone contact to each country’s chairman of the special club of which the German Modeneser refers and tell about this new website.
It will take place in November.

Website

The aim is that all articles of the German Modeneser from the German Special Club will be translated to English.

My English could be much better, and I hope for your understanding when some – or surely more – linguistic errors occur. If I as an example have written "side winds" and it should have been "cross winds", I would be happy to receive a friendly briefing .

This website is created in the program SimpleSite.com. It is a program that does not require knowledge of programming. You can open the program and try it free!

In beginning I will help to put the individual countries’ information and pictures into the website, but the vision is – when enough instructions by phone have taken place and the person wants it – self to operate the program.

Each country’s main page is intended as a welcome page, where for example we can get some information of the status of breeding of the German Modeneser.

A photo of the contact person could also be of interest.

Each sub page should be used as indicated.

You can use your own national language or English. In the search program Google, it is possible to "machine" translate others' texts into your own language, and thus gain insight into this country's post.

Under Helppage/Hilfeseite there are directions in English and German how this translation in Google can take place.

It is a wish from The German Special Club that the pictures of the German Modeneser are of such quality, that they show the preference of each pigeon, and that the pigeons are in good balance.

-----------

The success rate for new projects is often conditional of positive and constructive relations between involved persons and in this context it primarily will be between the contact persons and me. I will do my best to live up to it.

I therefore hope to serve as an inspirer and supporter, but not at least as sparring partner, and most of all hoping that all breeders will use this website as a platform for the benefit of a continued development of the German Modeneser and inspiration in their own breed.
