"Tawny" Mossbawnhill All Eyes On Me is our hopeful new star. She is our 'keeper' from the latest litter here at Mossbawnhill,she is the daughter of "Pebble" GB,IR,INT Ch.Mossbawnhill It's All Bout Me (European Winner 09) & "Cedar" Mossbawnhill Better Son. Tawny was a little bit unexpected in the color dept as she was the only fawn in the litter from a blue brindle mum & a brindle parti dad and as soon as she was born we knew instantly that she was going to be staying here with us and as she has grown & developed both in stature & personality we are delighted with how she is shaping up & are postitive that we have made the correct choice. She is very reminiscent of her cousin "Folly" Mossbawnhill U Bet I Am (Jun Ch.) both in type & prescence (although I'm not that sure that the world is quite ready for another Folly!!) and as we watch her develop at home we are very hopeful that she will be following in her wonderful mother's pawsteps!
Tawny made her ring debut this month (June) in the Baby Puppy Class that are available for 4-6mth old puppies at some of the Ch shows here in Ireland & although she can be fairly naughty & a bit hard to assess on the move we have been extremely pleased with how she has coped with it all generally & her attitude. She is exactly shaping up as we had hoped that she would and has the most wonderful movement (when she manages to keep all four paws on the ground at once!). She has also debuted in England & we are very pleased to say that she won the "Pro Plan" MPB Stks under Max King @ WKC at just 6mths old & also did very well on our "Irish Circuit" in August as she won her class at 3 of the 4 shows entered plus she also managed to get a 4th in a very strong Puppy Stakes class @ Tralee Ch Show under Marcie Dobkin from the US. She has also now managed to attain her 1st Green Star (CAC) under Mrs D Francis (US) & her 1st Res CC along with BPIB under Mr Bill Browne-Cole (UK) both from the PB class,the first when she had just turned 8mths old & the second when she was just under 10mths old. So not too shabby a start to her ring career!
We are really looking forward to campaigning this super young lady as we are sure that she will live up to her early promise.

We are extremely happy to announce that "Smoke" Rushden Where There's Smoke With Mossbawnhill has now joined our "team" here at home & will make a very welcome asset to our family. He is out of "Damson" Mossbawnhill Smooth As Silk For Rushden and sired by "Merlin" Rushden Casts A Spell Over Brackaghmoss,so his pedigree is a wonderful combination of some really great English lines incorporated with some super Continental & American ones.
This young lad is everything that we would wish for in a youngster of his age & at present is displaying the most fantastic attitude &"ring prescence" just like his grandsire "Badger" Ir & Int Ch Mossbawnhill Better Man has! He is also a super size standing at just 19 1/2ins & has a very low,free moving gait.
He debuted early in November & what a debut it was! He won the Puppy Dog Stakes & then went one better to take BPIS,which qualified him for Crufts 2011..so we really could'nt have asked for any more from him. He then made the journey across the Irish Sea with myself (Pamela),his best friend & partner in crime 'Folly' M.U Bet I Am (Jun Ch) & her Sire 'Timber' Ir & Int Ch. M.Exclusive (CJW08) to make his first appearance @ Crufts under Mrs Dagmar Kenis-Pordham (Solstrand).....and we can report that it was a rather successful Crufts this year (2011) as Smoke was Res (4th) in a very strong Sp PD class of 19 and Timber thrilled us by not only winning his OD class but by also then taking the CC & BOS...WOW! what a great Crufts!!!
Smoke will now take a break from the ring to allow him to mature both mentally & physically and will return sometime next year when we feel he is ready.
We are very grateful to Janet & Tracy of Rushden Kennels that they allowed us to have this wonderful boy here at Mossbawnhill.
