We are a small riding school located in Dawesley in the Adelaide Hills.
Natasha Cockburn is an EFA NCAS Level 1 general coach, fully insured to teach anyone from beginners to competition level.
Natasha's background was eventing but she is now concentrating on dressage and is competing at FEI level dressage.
We have four school horses available to use for lessons. Or you can bring your own.
We have a fully fenced and surfaced all weather arena with lights.
Lessons are private one on one to make the most of your riding experience.
Or depending on riders ability and horses available we can do shared lessons.
Here at Oakwood we believe in giving students the opportunity to groom, saddle up and unsaddle and care for the horse before and after riding. We like to encourage students to learn the horse management side of horses as well as riding.
Our main focus is safety and beginning to forge the bond between horse and rider. Lessons are tailored to suit each individual rider with the emphasis on building confidence.
Lesson Costs As of the 30th of July 2009 prices will be:
1hr - $50
1/2hr - $30
1hr shared lesson - $80 between two riders
I am also available to travel to teach clients at their homes, these costs are:
1hr - $60 + travel for over 20km away from Dawesley.
Also available are Horse Management lessons and horse clipping.
We are located in Dawesley just 15 mins from Mt barker in the Adelaide Hills.
