began quite by accident in 1980 when
Peter Welch (the PE of Pebwin) decided he wanted a Golden. Berna Welch (the BW of Pebwin) had owned and shown dogs for most of her life but never a "hairy dumb Golden". The Golden breed immediately transformed Berna into a lifelong enthusiast! The rest as they say, is history. After almost 30 years of breeding Goldens on Cape Cod, we are proud to present the
