Bonnie Doon Golf Club founded in 1897 is a club with a host of traditions being the third oldest in Sydney, initially commencing life amid the estates and grand homes that dotted the hills of Tempe, it was know as Marrickville Golf Club.

The Club moved to a new site at Arncliffe in 1907 where it changed its name to Bonnie Doon, the name of the grazing property the club purchased.

The Club eventually moved to Pagewood where it continues, having carved out a pure links course of wide fairways and natural hazards, from sandy heath and Banksia scrub.

It is a 5906 metre, par 71 course with generous tree lined  fairways, however the long grass needs to be dealt with, with flawless precision.

The Club continues to be renowned for  a generous proportion of bookmakers,jockeys and hoteliers amongst its members.
Bonnie Doon Golf Club boasts generous fairways and fast greens, however the thick long grass that adorns the course need to be dealt with, with flawless precision. The course will test all levels of skills from tee to green and acuracy is a benefit on some fairways.
