PENRITH RSL MEMORIAL
UNVEILING and DEDICATION CEREMONY

A Ceremony took place on Friday 31st October 2008 at the Penrith RSL premises to commemorate all who served and in particular those that paid the supreme sacrifice.


The NSW Governor Her Excellency Professor  Marie Bashir AC CVO attended and took the Royal Salute from the RAAF Guard of Honour 
 


It was pleasing to see a significant RAAF feature panel on the Memorial.
A feature often left out to recognise  a proud contribution to Australia's military history.   
The RAAF then mounted a Catafalque Party for Governor Bashir to lay a wreath.
