Our young boy Bitcon Dollar at Risley is slowly finding his feet in the show ring, he has such a strong personality that he tends to want to rush everywhere.The three month break from showing will allow us to do some serious handling work in preperation for St Patricks Day show in March , 2009.
He is entered for the show in Dublin on 27th and that will be his final show of the year.
Cody has a fantastic personality , loves people and enjoys life..

Charity Show December.

Risley Rear of the Year aka Diva has had a great year. She gained her first green star and Celtic Winner title at 7 months of age.Diva went on to gain her Junior Champion title at 12 months of age. She is currently sitting on 5 green stars.
At the recent charity show Diva was placed first and BOB in the breed class and went on to be placed 2nd in the group.
In the Junior Champion of Champions class held later that day Diva was placed 1st in group 7 and went in to be placed reserve Junior Champion. Diva was handled on the day by Ms Dionne Fitzsimmons. We were delighted with Divas performance, as there was an entry of over 100 dogs on the day. Diva is looking forward to a rest during January and February and long walks on the beach, to prepare her for the show calander in 2009.Our thanks to all who have judged Diva in 2008 and who thought so highly of her. Our best wishes and sincere thanks to our friend and handler Ms Sinead Taggart.

We are looking forward to a well earned rest during January and February, although we shall have other matters to occupy our time with a litter of Vizsla puppies expected around 7th February, 09.
We already have several puppies booked, and are anxiously awaiting their arrival..We hope to keep at least one puppy from the litter to join the Risley show team.

We only breed from hip tested stock, and always look to improve the breed, by using proven dogs with pedigrees that compliment our own lines.We always look for the stud dog to have a great temperments and confirmation.We are also planning some exciting matings for 2009.

Enquiries welcomed, initial contact can be by e-mail but we then require you to contact us by telephone to discuss further after which we will send a questionairre to prospective owners .

Dachsund News

Our Dachsunds have had a rest from the ring following Raisen producing three puppies in August, 08. We plan to bring the Dachsunds out at St Patricks day show in March, 09.

We are really excited about our new puppy who will make his appearance at the show. Our new boy is from genetically clear stock making him a very valuable asset to our breeding program.We firmly believe when areas are highlighted of concern in a breed it is the duty of breeders to test for any conditions mentioned in the prospective breeds. The dachsunds should be eye tested to allow you to know the status of the dogs you are considering mating to ensure that you are not mating an affected dog to an affected bitch.

In due course our young stud dog will be available at limited stud to approved, eye tested bitches.

Latest news

We plan to mate another bitch in March,09 to an import, this will tie in well with our own lines and hopefully improve on what we have been striving towards excellent confirmation, temperment and type.
