Hello! My name is Ritva.

I was born in Finland 1951.  I live in North Sweden, in Ratan, http://www.ratan.se  a small village by the sea, 40 km North from Umeå town with my husband Börje. Our kids Rickard and Nina were born -77 and -78.  Rickard and his Emma live in Umeå, Nina and her Jonas live in Stockholm.

My first grandchild was born April 27th 2008, by Emma, my daughter-in-law. A great occasion - a wonderful small girl came into my life! My second grandchild, born by my daughter Nina, arrived 4th of November. Granny twice 2008!

Börje and I spend most of the year in Sweden. I teach Swedish language for immigrants, Börje is working with cars and engines part time. Our winter paradise is in Gambia, West Africa where we spend a few months every year. There we have a house of our own, with a small guest apartment for rent, see the link to the left.
