This is the way we operate:-
We are a loose organisation (or disorganisation!) headed by a "Queen" who keeps
the fun going.
All ladies 50 and over must agree to wear Red on the Head and Purple on the Shoulder at all Red Hat get-togethers. If you are under 50 you can be a PINKY! (Pink
on the head and lilac on the shoulder)
We meet for regular lunches, generally on the fourth Friday of every month, and try different venues. It is
members’ responsibility to give their names to Carol, our "Dinner Lady" for each lunch by the closing date (the Friday before).
All other Gatherings and Hoots are taken
from suggestions by members, and equal consideration and courtesy will be given to all members and their choices.
Our members may occasionally bring along guests to most
of our gatherings, but should check first with Queenie.
All about the Money:-
There is a membership fee of £12.00 per annum, to be paid by 31st January each year. (This may be subject to change)
Chapter Funds are
used to pay for registration of chapter, website, printing of newsletters, postage, stationery, raffle books, receipt books, Birthday Cards and get well cards, booking fees, special items for ladies of the chapter and other special awards.
A copy of the accounts can always be seen on request.
Raffles are held to promote funds for the chapter. Participation is appreciated,
but not obligatory. Donations of prizes for the raffle are always welcome!
We do not raise money for charity.
All monies held in
The Rose Madder Reds bank account and including any petty cash held by the Queen, Treasurer and Prize Princess are the property of the members of the Rose Madder Reds . In the event of the chapter closing, the balance in the account would be shared equally
between the members.

with this please let us know.
