What a Fantastic Weekend!
2007 will go offfff!
Wow! What an event! Two days of non stop Salsa dancing workshops, more than 10 performances three nights running and social dancing that would leave your mouth watering!
International artists from all over the world.
Congratulations must go to the organisers LDA/Albert Torres for such a smooth running weekend.
International artists included the manoeuvre king Super Mario, Henry Herrera (Miami), “Edie” the salsa freak, (South America), Stayz Raukawa from New Zealand with the Salsa Kids, Spin and partner (Korea), Alex Lee and Chi Le (San Francisco) Victor and Burjuhacha y Machete (Boston), Jason Molina and Alessandra (Italy) RyoKoa and Ryu (Japan).
Australia was well represented through Oliver Pineda and Luda Kroiter, Jamie Jesus and Little Liz to name only a few.
The four-day event saw more than 4000 people participate over the whole weekend. It was held at Homebush Stadium in Sydney, Australia, a premier venue to say the least! Workshops were of all different levels with flavour and flair coming from all parts of the globe.
The Asian contingent was an absolute stand out both in performance and workshop. RyoKoa and Ryu (Japan) sizzled together in their performance leaving the audience in a standing ovation.
The international/Aussie artists were of great representatives of the sport over the weekend helping and inspiring people in their own Salsa experience.
The workshops were a great place for people to learn new moves, breakdown procedure and connection between mind, spirit and body.
