Gaylan's Fireside Affair JH NF ADHF VC CCA WCX CGC
"Tux" (nee Mr. Black) moved back to Connecticut with Chris and Mike Marinelli and their dogs Gabby, Liza and Harley. They will be doing agility, obedience and field.
He earned his Canine Good Citizen Award (CGC) at the age of fivemonths.
On September 13 and 14, 2008, Tux earned his 3rd and 4th JH Legs for his Junior Hunter title at the age of 14 months! At the GRCA National Specialty, on September 20, 2008, Tux earned a bumper JH leg on a very challenging Junior Test. He then went on to earn his GRCA Working Certificate the next weekend, September 28, 2008!
Tux also placed fourth in the Advanced Singles Stakes at Southern Berkshire's Fun Field Trial in October, 2009.
Tux and Chris debuted in agility earning their NAJ title on March 7,2010, all legs with first placements! Three weeks later he completed his Novice Agility title, all with first placements. Then he went on to finish his OAJ in short order, again with first placements! This boy is going to go places in agility.
Tux earned his OA on July 25, 2010 at the Collie Club of New England trial in N. Smithfield, RI - with a first place!
Tux went on a spree in late August and early September earning his AX and AXJ both with first placements, getting his first MX leg and first MACH points! His AX title helped qualify his Momma, Tango, for the GRCA's Outstanding Dam Award!
Tux then went on to complete his GRCA Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA) on September 19, 2010 under evaluators Barbara Pepper, Janice Provenzano, and Beth Gerevics to complete the requirements for the GRCA Versatility Certificate. The VC requires participation in conformation, field and performance - way to go, T-Bone and Chris.
October 3, 2010 - Tux finished his Novice Fast title, as well as earning his first QQ! From Novice to first QQ between March and October, 2010, with limited showings - Congratulations!
Tux completed his 10th STD Q for his Master Excellent agility title on November 26, 2010. Beautiful, bright, biddable, and birdy - what more could you ask for?
Tux finished his MXJ on December 19, 2010 and earned another QQ and more MACH points. As of January 2, 2011 he now has 2 QQ's towards the 2011 AKC NAC. Congratulations to an amazing team!
****January 23, 2011 -**** Tux completes the requirements for the GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame by earning his 9th and 10th QQ's, as well as three fourths and a second placement. Novice to ADHF in 10 months! What a dog - and what a handler!
Since then, Tux has also finished the requirements needed to participate in the 2012 AKC National Agility Championships. Congrats!

Congratulations to Chris and MACH Tux! They completed their 20th QQ at the Eastern English Springer Spaniel Club trial in Westfield, MA to earn the AKC Master Agility Champion title! What a great job these two have done going from Nov A to MACH in 18 months! WAHOO!
