Well, the pups turned six weeks old on Wednesday, January 7th and are really becoming individuals!  With only the two parrotheads, and the two foster kids, I'm really getting to know each one.  They are very active pups, and I love the way they sit and look at me.  Reminds me of their Momma, Tango.

They all love to come out of their pen and play first thing in the morning.  As soon as they hear me clicking the hooks on the pen, they are right there, feet up on the pen, asking to come out and play.  On the bad note, they also ask by using their voices!  Early morning can be very noisy!

The puppy zoomies have started, chasing each other is the most fun game, as well as biting tails, ears and paws.  They also like to take toys away from each other and from their Mom (who doesn't like that so much) and sometimes have a two or three man tug game going.

We have been going outside when we can.  When we can't, we've explored the basement, the living room (very quickly since it's carpeted) and yesterday had the run of the garage since the yard was too icy.  That meant I had to spend quite some time cleaning it up!

Winter is a harder time to raise the pups; you have to be creative in stimulating their brains and exercising their bodies.  I think I've done a good job, we'll have to see how they turn out ;>D!

Enjoy the new photos below.  We'll try to post some more after the puppy walk on the 17th/18th.

Today is January 16th and what a day we had.  Winnie the labrador and Macy the bulldog came over to play and we had a great time!  Especially since it was so cold out it was nice to have indoor play time.  The lab puppy was no big deal for the parrotheads, but the bulldog was certainly something new with her dark coloring and her "talking" while she was playing.  Of course, with a bulldog, there's a bit of slime too.  Winnie and Macy - thanks for coming to play!
