I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to post these pictures and tell you all a little bit about our two weeks at Gaylan's Winter Doggy Disneyland.  We had an uneventful trip from CT to NY, just about two hours, with the pups being quiet until the last ten minutes.  They held out long enough to get to Gayle's and then needed out to use the potty area.  They hit the ground running and exploring and were virtually unfazed by their new surroundings.  After a short exploration, I helped Gayle set up their new puppy room and got them settled.

We spent the two weeks walking in the woods (freezing!!!!) through snow and sometimes icy areas, slogging through the slush, over logs and brush and through what little streams we could find.  All the pups did great, following along right from the beginning.  They got to listen to a gunshot cd, radio stations, washer and dryer machines, vacuums,  blowdryers and anything else I could think of from a noise perspective. They got to travel a bit more, be introduced to live birds, play with a couple of other dogs - a lab puppy and a 20 month old bulldog, as well as meet lots more folks on the puppy walk.  We also did their health checks, got their first shots, their microchips, eye and heart checks, as well as did their temperament tests and structural evaluations.  It was a very busy time and sure made me wish I had decided on a summer litter!  Walking a litter of pups is much nicer when the weather is cooperative!

Miss Red and Miss Green went back to their owners at the end of the two weeks and Miss Yellow went to live with Nancy and Sara and their two Corgis, Ricky and Lucy.  Mr. Blue came home to stay with Randy, me, Tango, and Becky in CT. Both the pups have settled into their new homes and are learning all about the world they are going to live and work in.

Hope you enjoy the photos from our two weeks in New York with Aunty Gayle below.
