Welcome again to SCBB's 3rd Annual Ghost Hunters Workshop! We had a great group of people that attended. Their enthusiasm was delightful to say the least. Most of those attending were locals but there were a few from out of town that drove in for the workshop.
Sheila and Carol Welcomed the group and did the introductions before continuing with the class studies.
Instructors:
Sheila Baranowski: Founder
Carolyn Albritton: Co-Founder
Mark Miller: Legal Advisor
Buddy Albritton: Technical/Equipment
JT Davis: Historian
Doree Jordarski: Distribution
Those attending were:
Mark Viola Edie Rowell-Wright
Mary Garbe Samantha Ingle
Tysone Hicks Louis Shaw
Linda Shaw Scott Jackson
Kenneth Albritton Bobby Lewis
Tony Hill Terry Cummings
Susan Herring
The workshop covered topics of protocols, safety, procedure, equipment usage, how to get the best pictures and where to go to get the best pictures and how to find the historical information when picking locations.
At the conclusion there was a drawing for prizes and then each student received a certificate of completion in Ghost Hunting 101.
The group then proceeded to a local cemetery to practice what they had learned and most of them were thrilled to see that they were having success. There were several that captured some interesting photos which of course was the hightlight of their night!
Ghost Hunting 101 is the first step in understanding the paranormal. There are many classes out there that explores more deeply into the paranormal. Don't be afraid to ask questions and ask for credentials when trying to advance your learning. There are many groups that have no more training than you do so beware!
As Always...
HAPPY HUNTING!
