Monthly meeting dates in 2009/10

The next monthly meetings in 2009/2010 at the Finnish Hall, 1 Fleet Ave. Hillcrest will be on the following dates:   

                       
TAKE NOTE:  

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 18  HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREME HOT WEATHER.
It is only the second time that a monthly meeting has been cancelled in the club's 22 years historie. The first time was when we moved from Hindmarsh to Hillcrest.
The committee apologies for any inconvenience, but as we do not have airconditioner in the Hall (Fan only) would it have been nearly impossible keeping the food fresh and to the health standard.

All meetings starts at 11.00 am and finish at 3.00 pm
OUTINGS

The Club is mostly based on the monthly meetings at the Finnish Hall at Hillcrest. where a nice lunch is served and the members enjoy each others company. 
Sometimes there will be entertainment or guest speakers.

But we also usually have 2 outings per year between the meeetings at the Hall.
It is around May and November 

This year we have had a lunch at Cudlee Creeck Restaurant and a lunch and Animal show at Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary in the Hill. Both afternoon was very enjoyable and the attendance was in the mid twenties.
