What a party we had in July when the Scandinavian Seniors of South Australia had 25 years Jubilee. It was celebrated with 60 people attending on the 18th of July. They were welcomed with warm Glogg and cheese, before been seated at the beautiful decorated tables.
The Kitchen manager, Mari-Anne Sylvester had again made a lovely special lunch, starting with a fish platter, followed by delicious Open Sandwiches, before finish off with cheese platter. What a treat, and everyone enjoyed it very much.
There were wonderful live music by John Kampes, which brought many members on the dance floor.
The founder of the club and past president, Mr. Gert Andersen assisted by the present President. Mrs. Karin Terrassin cut the birthday cake, followed by a short speech from both.
Coffee and birthday cake together with "Kransekage", made and donated by Hanne Pedersen, was then served before the drawing of the lucky number game took place. It was a happy bunch of people who left that afternoon when the party ended.

A booklet, made by Jon Pedersen, over the club's 25 years, together with the monthly newsletter "Scandinavian" were distributed to members when they arrived.
