CHRISTMAS PARTY 2011
What a day at the Scandinavian Seniors in South Australia.
On December 21, the club had its Christmas Party with 70 people attending, so it became a busy day for our Kitchen managers who made a little different menu which were served so people didn't need to line up for their food. The menu started with a platter of 3 or 4 fish, thereafter the open sandwiches were put on table. It was a huge success. We had mucisian, Frank Ferrare, to entertain and play for a couple of hours, some members took the liberty to take over the dancefloor. and they did a good floorshow. The president got the people joining in singing some Christmas carols very much helped by Kathe Hansen who has a lovely voice. The secretary had made up some lovely prizes for a raffle, which gave a little profit. It was a busy day for the treasurer too, people lined up for pay their membership fee for 2012.
so we are looking forward
to the new year with a lot of optimism for the club.
