We want to educate people about puppy mills. Teach everyone that they are real, that they are devastating, and that they must be stopped! Be advised: There are some sad and shocking pictures on this site. These animals are kept in deplorable conditions with no regard for their health. We can stop this and we must. Everytime you purchase a puppy from a puppymill or pet store this is what you are supporting.
   Please be wary and aware when purchasing a puppy from Missouri or Arkansas. The sad facts are: that area is the puppy mill capitol of the world. Make certain that the breeder is raising the puppies in their home, do not fall for silly excuses like its more sanitary and healthy for puppies to be raised in a kennel. There is no guarantee that any puppy at 8-12 weeks, will be fully inoculated against insidious disease. So obviously if I breeder tries to tell you the puppy will suddenly be OK indoors at 8-12 weeks, because it will have it's vaccines, that is simply untrue. Well if a breeder is doing such a poor job and producing such unhealthy offspring that they can not be raised inside their home, what do you think is going to happen when the puppy comes to your house to live? Through painful experience and all the folks that we have talked with over the years, the ones who have purchased puppies from  puppy mills. We see and hear the same story all the time, the puppy gets sick then one of two things happen: vet bills pile up as the family endeavors to save the puppies life or despite bringing the puppy to the vet, the puppy dies. It is devastating to the entire family on so many levels. Our mission is to help educate as many people as possible, so no family has to endure that kind of pain, grief, and loss.
