A Typical Day
The Cider House
On Arrival

On arrival at the Cider House, Tarrington Court for a day event you will be welcomed with tea, coffee and home made biscuits or cake.

Presentation

Shortly after arrival there will be a talk and presentation, lasting about an hour.  This will be highly visual with lots of pictures relevant to the subject.  It will also be interactive, providing everyone with the chance to ask questions.

A Light Lunch

After the talk there will be a light seasonal lunch using home grown food where possible and generally a glass of Tarrington Court wine, although at some of our events we will offer some homemade mulberry gin!
Soft drinks are also available.

After Lunch

Workshops include a demonstration of techniques and then you get the chance to be creative.  All materials and plants are included.

During the day there is generally an opportunity to take a tour around the gardens although it may need to be a virtual tour if the weather is bad! 

There will also be an opportunity to look at the items for sale in the Cider House Shop.  So if you want to find a beautiful or unusual gift for someone don't forget to bring your cheque book.

What's Included ?

All materials are included in the price for workshops, although additional items can often be bought on the day if you are feeling inspired to do more either while you are with us or to take home and try.

Numbers of places are limited so you are advised to book early.  Also, we offer a 10% discount if you book 4 or more talks in one go.
