Organic Gardening for the Realist - This talk will cover some key aspects and benefits and how organic gardening can be achieved without too much money and effort.

Planting for Spring Talk - How to have colour in the Spring, when to plant and how to ensure bulbs appear year after year. 

Workshops

Original Pot and Hanging Baskets - unusual planting schemes to add colour to your garden throughout the year.

Teaching Teenagers to Cook - covering the basics and some excellent shortcuts and ideas on how to impress others with your cooking.

Lettering in the Garden - A cost effective way to create lettering in your garden.  In this workshop you will learn the techniques and have a go at writing on a piece of slate.

Photographing your Garden - Experienced photographer Angela Busch will give tips on how best to capture your garden with your camera and how to record it through the seasons.  Cameras provided or bring your own.  Aimed at all levels of photographers.

Harvest Autumn Flower Arranging - Learn how to create spectacular arrangements using vegetables, berries, flowers and fruits.

Cheating in the Kitchen - Learn how to take short cuts and save time while creating delicious, easy and original dishes from home-grown ingredients without compromising on health or taste.  Available to everyone, this workshop may appeal especially to the man or teenager aspiring to become the next Jamie Oliver but needs a little guidance.

Topiary - Discuss types of plants and ways to plant, train and care for. Watch a demonstration then create your own spiral or wedding cake to take home at the end of the day.

Christmas Decorations - Want to create unique Christmas decorations using materials from the garden.  Treat yourself and learn some key techniques you can use again and again.
