Hi There,
I really enjoyed looking at your website. It's great to see the depth of knowledge you have gained by "doing" - the sheer detail shines out. Well done!
I run a day-long "Working Lives - The Tudors" at Temple Newsam Estate in Leeds, as Education Officer for Parks and Countryside at Leeds City Council. Like yours, it's all hands on. Hard work and fantastic fun!

Hello,

I have had a look at the nice photos. A very nice and informative homepage. A lot of fun with the other creation and lots of love from the Baltic Sea.

Hello Brenda,
Many thanks for your kind words.
At this terrible time can I send the prayers and thoughts of my family and everyone here in the UK to all the people affected by the fires in Victoria and the rest of southern Australia.
Anyone reading this, expecting a baby, thinking of starting a family, or having a pregnant woman in their family should take a look at your website - a great insight into the care a midwife offers.

Hi Sally,
What an interesting & informative website !
I really enjoyed browsing over it.
The children who are able to participate in your programmes are very lucky, it's so true that 'hands on' learning is much more effective than seeing or reading alone.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with those of us who live so far away in a New Age country (Australia)! We just don't have access to the thousands of years of human history to delve into & discover.
Exciting stuff !
Kind regards
Brenda Manning

Hi! Greetings from Stockholm, Sweden! I read about necklaces smelling parfume and don“t like that idea at all. Clean does not have to smell! We who have asthma and allergies are having trouble with all parfymed people and things. All our meetings in astma and allergysociety here in Sweden are only for odourless people. Childern may get asthma if they have odours hanging around neck. Thanks for reading! Leenu in Stockholm (sorry our site is in swedish)

Hello,

I found you while googling pomander beads. Like yourself, I've been inspired by Chtistina's books and courses and have had a go at making these with my children's university children. It's a lovely activity with many chances for wort cunning type tales. But how do you encourage your beads to spread their fragrance once dry? I've tried hanging some I made a year ago over my radiators hoping they would fill my house with the fragrance they had when freshly made (or cooped up in the box). I've been fighting a cold for weeks so maybe that's why I can't smell them.

What a brilliant site! We to teach the Tudors here in costume and are currently researching for our new interpretation panels - it was great to read your notes and discover you to enjoy teaching history in the same way. Keep up the good work!

Hello Laura,
If you read this message I have twice tried to send you help with your homework on Tudor food for the rich and poor, but the email address left on the message below must be incorrect as it is returned each time as 'unable to deliver'.
If you still need help please mail me your correct email address and I will forward the help you requested.
