Ruth has many years practical historical knowledge covering a vast range of subjects and eras.

The last day course I was lucky enough to attend of Ruth's was at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum in 2009.
'Tudor Salad and Vegetables'

As in all Ruth's courses it was a good mixture of talking, walking - in  the period gardens - collecting fresh ingredients, and making, in this case cooking.

Ruth's courses can be attended by the complete novice or the more knowledgeable, everyone will learn!

The courses have a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Please check out Ruth's website for courses, lectures, and where they will be held in 2010.

I guarantee you'll enjoy a day with Ruth and learn!

Home Educating

Home Educating Resources

http://www.homeschooling-ideas.com

All children need to be inspired to learn whether in a classroom or at home.

The Homeschooling Ideas website was set up by Julie Gilbert, who educates her children at home, and is full of great ideas and links to resources she herself has used.

Even for the holidays for those wanting to have days out/in with an educational flavour many ideas can be found here.
