Since 2003 I have travelled to the UK, Slovakia, France, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia showing the dogs.

We have had mixed success over the years and below are some of the highlights.

At Noah's first show in England, the Saluki or Gazelle Hound Club Championship Show he was placed 2nd in the Open Dog class which gave him his UK Stud Book number.
He then went on to receive a 1st place at Crufts.

His daughter Shaqira, received the award for most successful exhibit at the Festival of the Saluki in 2007. Taking class placements at all shows and Puppy in Show at Richmond. She also placed well at a number of UK shows gaining 16 points towards her Junior Warrant.

Ibriiz was also shown in England with a little less success than his sister but still with some proud achievements the best being a 4th in his class at Crufts while being handled by a rather young Adam.

In 2008 Adam and I undertook our first road trip into Europe where we attended  the European Sighthound show and Falapa.

It was a huge adventure for us and enabled us to gain a better understanding into showing in continental Europe. At this stage the Irish Kennel Club had not fully implemented FCI judging so the whole experience was quite different!

Young Shaqira continued her winning ways by obtaining a 1st place in her class at the Falapa speciality show. Unfortunately I was unaware of the requirements for obtaining a French show title and have not utilised the CAC properly.

At both the shows Noah and his daughter Shaqira came second in a very strong couples competition.

2010 SWEDEN & DENMARK

3 International shows were held in Jonkopping with very strong competition on each day. An added challenge here was that Bundy's litter brother was also present. All dogs were well behaved and received Excellent on most days.

In Denmark we attended the Danish Sighthound Club and the World Show.

By far the most successful was Noah who took Best in Show - Veteran at the club show

October saw a second trip to Europe this time attending the Slovenian Sighthound Club and the Euro show.
